Regional Play

Ringette teams are formed based on the age of the player. The teams are as follows for the 2023-24 season:

U8 (FUN2): 8 yrs & under (born 2016 and younger)
U10: 10 yrs & under (born 2014-2015)
U12: 12 yrs & under (born 2012-2013)
U14: 14 yrs & under (born 2010-2011)
U16: 16 yrs & under (born 2008-2009)
U19: 20 yrs & under (3-year age division, born 2005-2007)
18+: 18 years & over (born before 2005)

Each level will play competitive regional games on weekends throughout the season.  They may also participate in 2-3 tournaments over the season in addition to the South-Central Regionals championship tournament at the end of the year.

Teams within the Hamilton Ringette Association typically play at a B or C division level.  Teams can generally expect to have one game and one practice per weekend; however there may be slight variances based on scheduling availability within the region.
