Hamilton Ringette Association Volunteer of the Year Award
Introduction
This award recognizes and honours an outstanding individual who has continually volunteered their time and talent in the Hamilton Ringette Association. This individual has made significant contribution to the HRA over a number of years through commitment, service, creativity, cooperation and leadership in their volunteer role(s). For the purposes of this award, volunteering is defined as:
- volunteered significant unpaid hours
- Given selflessly of themselves and their time with no consideration of personal gain
- be of benefit to the organization and to all members of the HRA family
Award Criteria
Demonstrate exceptional commitment, service, creativity, cooperation, or leadership. The following areas will be assessed:
- impact on all levels of the HRA and the community
- engagement within the HRA
- inspiration
- time and effort given to the HRA
Judging
The HRA President will appoint a committee to select the recipient of the Volunteer of the Year Award. Selection will be based on the information contained in the Nomination Form and gathered by the committee. The successful nominee will receive the award at the year end AGM
Deadline
The Volunteer of the Year Award Nomination Form and Letter of Support must be submitted online no later than April 10 each year.
