This year's AGM will be once again hosted virtually. It is important that all HRA members take part in this meeting to ensure that all voices are heard as the association plans for the coming season.
You must be a member in good standing to participate in the AGM; therefore, for those members with outstanding balances to the HRA please remit final payment to the HRA Treasurer.
ELECTIONS:
Elections will be held for all Executive and Board positions. As this group's term comes to an end we will be looking for new faces to bring a fresh perspective as we continue to grow the association. For a complete list of positions, roles & responsibilities and term, visit the HRA website.
VOLUNTEER AWARD:
In a year of uncertainty, our volunteers stayed strong and provided a constant level of commitment and dedication to the HRA players and families. This award recognizes the volunteer that has consistently gone above and beyond for the benefit of the Hamilton Ringette Association. We need your nominations to select this year's Paul Vriend's Award for Excellence in Volunteering. Please submit nominations to the HRA Secretary by Friday, April 30th.
NOTICE OF AMENDMENTS:
The following motions are being brought to vote upon by the membership during the AGM:
1. Rotating election years based on role to secure knowledge transfer during election years:
President, Secretary, Coaching Coordinator, Referee in Chief - Odd Year Renewal
Vice President, Treasurer, Registrar, Purchaser - Even Year Renewal
2. Good standing adherence policy for HRA executive/board meetings - if an elected member misses 25% of scheduled meetings they are no longer in good standing and may be removed by the HRA executive. The HRA Executive may take into consideration the circumstances for missed meetings to determine decision.
